Video? This blog has turned into some kind of crazy, all-out multimedia bonanza.
So first of all, the mic on my camera has apparently died some sort of spectacular death, resulting in a terrible amount of sparkly-sounding digital noise marring what would have been a great recording. I don’t recommend listening to this with headphones, or with the volume turned up too high; otherwise you might be overcome with the sensation that your eardrums are being stabbed by very angry, very tiny, icepick-wielding goblins. Stupid camera. YOU ARE ONLY FIVE YEARS OLD. AND I’VE ONLY DROPPED YOU A FEW TIMES. COME ON.
Anyway, this is the cast of NDNU’s 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee singing the opening number at the end of our first week of rehearsal. I think it’s safe to say our production is going to kick all kinds of ass.
Featuring Daniel Lloyd Pias as Chip, yours truly as Rona, Tracy O’Brien as Logainne, Neal Pascua as Leaf, Samantha Bruce as Marcy, Alexis Flores as Olive, and Mike Reed filling in for our absent Barfee.
